The Junior Olympic Trails for the state of Vermont were held at Norwich University December 18-19, 1999 by the Northfield Junior Rifles. All shooters represented themselves and BRPC in manner to be proud. In Air Rifle, all 6 boys and 6 girls that shot had state qualifying scores with seven athletes shooting high enough scores to receive automatic invitations to the Junior Olympics to be held at the US Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado in February 2000. In Air Pistol, the only BRPC air pistol shooter shot a state qualifying score. In Smallbore Rifle, 4 boys and 4 girls shot state qualifying scores with 4 high enough for automatic invitations to the US Junior Olympics.
